Character and values taught through free football camps

By Greg Roeszler

WHO IS HOLDING FREE FOOTBALL CAMPS? Playmakers is an organization with a unique concept of teaching values and character and leadership to our youth. The needed message of values and character is being distributed by youth and high school coaches who are donating their time for FREE FOOTBALL CAMPS throughout the country. This effort is headed up by Greg Roeszler, who is the founder of the 5 year old non profit organization that last year provided instructional camps to over 600 kids and 100 coaches.

WHAT IS TAUGHT? The camps theme is "PAY IT FORWARD" by receiving the football instruction and hearing the character based messages, kids and coaches will go into their community and serve someone in need. Youth and high school coaches attend a character and values "clinic" arming them with tools that they can incorporate into their programs. In between the camps on the field sessions, the players and parents hear values and character messages from Coach Roz and other selected speakers who have played and coach the game.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR YOUTH? Playmakers is bringing both awareness and a plan to attack the staggering statistics throughout out our country 2 out of 5 kids today live in a home without their biological father Suicide rates increase significantly with no father in the home High school drop out rates are soaring with fatherless kids 135,000 kids carry guns to school

Playmakers believes that coaches willing to teach values and character can change the alarming trend that is developing in our society today. Coaches can deliver the message needed to create tomorrow's leaders.

CAN OUR TEAM HOST A PLAYMAKER CAMP? You can contact us and we can assist you in "hosting" a Playmaker camp in your area.
