A Jumble Of Comprehensive Feature Film Outlines

In the past you had to go to a store if you wanted to rent or buy a movie. High speed internet access has now made it possible to download movies right off a movie download site. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Black Fury: Hard hitting melodrama in reference to exploitation of coal miners, with Muni as a strong "hunk" who gets in over his head. Practical, and remarkably filmed, but it's a tad choppy. Muni's accent makes it hard to comprehend him at times. Cast includes Paul Muni, Karen Morley, William Gargan, Barton MacLaue, John Qualen, J. Carrol Naish, and Vince Barnett. (92 minutes, 1935)

A Day Without a Mexican: Premise has Californians arising to find there isn't a. lone Latino left in the state once they all mysteriously vanish. Let the comedy start! Striving for satire, the filmmakers miss the mark entirely with this insipid, forgettable film, which has only a few entertaining moments. Arau child of Alfonso and his spouse, Arizmendi, initially made this as a small subject. Cast includes Caroline Aaron, Tony Abatemarco, Melinda Allen, Yareli Arizmendi, and Maria Beck. (100 minutes, 2004)

AKA: Powerful tale of a youthful, gay, performing-style boy who manages to infiltrate England's upper crust, posing as a lord and nearly getting away with it. Shot on digital video, tale is informed by means of a triptych, simultaneously granting 3 views of each scene. Method takes getting used to however eventually the gimmick pays off. A mixed box, although still worth checking out. Written by Roy, and based on his experiences. Cast includes Matthew Leitch, Diana Rapid, George Asprey, Lindsey Coulson, Blake Ritson, Bill Nighy, Geoff Bell, and Peter Youngblood Hills. T, (123 minutes, 2002)

Bellissima: Obvious drama in reference to pushy, pitying mom Magnani, infatuated to the point of hysteria with getting her cute, compliant little baby girl into the films. The movie is loud while it should be delicate, and eventually grows tiresome. Cast includes Anna Magnani, Walter Chiari, Tina Apicella, Gastone Renzelli, and Alessandro Blasetti. (112 minutes, 1952)

Infinity: Sugary however choppy film based on the life of Richard Feynman, whose relation with Arline Arquette in pre-WW2. N.Y.C. takes a fateful turn while he is enlisted to work on the Manhattan Venture. The hypothetical physicist triumphed- the Nobel Treasure in 1965. Powerful while handling the love tale, although strolls while Feynman moves to Los Alamos. Broderick's directorial debut; inscribed bi' his mom, Pang. Cast includes Matthew Broderick, Patricia Arquette, Peter Riegert, Dori Brenner, and James LeGros. (117 minutes, 1996)

The Awesome O'Malley: Sappy film of ruthless cop O'Brien and meager guy Bogart who has lame baby girl and turns to offense to aid her. This is a pretty tacky film. Cast includes Pat O'Brien, Humphrey Bogart, Ann Sheridan, Donald Crisp, Mary Gordon, Frieda Inescort, and Sybil Jason. (71 minutes, 1937)

Down With Love: Spoof of I960s Doris Night-Stone Hudson comedies has Zellweger as the writer of a most popular novel on girl liberty in a battle of the genders with playboy/publication author McGregor. Andrew Constitutions' lush, over the top Hollywood-fantasy production layout is the genuine megastar here; everything else is heavy handed and shallow, a self-consciously synthetic burlesque of an already lightweight film genre. Cast includes Renee Zellweger, Ewan McGregor, David Hyde' Perforate, Sarah Paulson, Tony Randall, Lei Ryan, and Rachel Dratch. (94 minutes, 2003)

King Lear: This rendition of Shakespeare catastrophe might be bulky going for the uninitiated, although often a hefty and gratifying experience. Cast includes Paul Scofield, Irene Worth, Jack MacGowran, Alan Webb, Cyril Cusack, and Patrick Magee. (137 minutes, 1971)

House Party Two: Uninspired continuation has Baby Reid heading off to college-if he might just keep on to the money his temple assembly has brought up to send him there. Reid is still appealing, but this splintered film has little to offer, regardless of its communal awareness meteoric and get a learning "message." Cast includes Christopher Reid, Christopher Martin, Eugene Allen, George Anthony Bell, and William Schatner. (94 minutes, 1991)
