With a shop near every neighborhood, video stores have been the most convenient way to get movies for years. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. You will find just about any movie you want with a good movie download site, below is a small sample.

Underworld: The Vampires and the Werewolves have lived for centuries now within the human world. Although humans don't even think either group even exists, to each other they are mortal enemies. The werewolves are trying to develop an new breed, combining the strengths of both races. If they succeed it will drastically shift the balance of power to the werewolves.

The Abyss: A submarine has sunk. A nearby oil rig crew is sent down to rescue the sub if possible. Once down there they find that this in no normal situation. This film stars Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Michael Biehn, and Leo Burmester. (1989 Sci-Fi)

Rain Man: Charlie Babbit finds that he has been virtually left out of his father's will. He finds out that he has a brother, and that the money has gone to his brother Ray, who lives in a mental institution. At first wanting to get his hands on the money, Charlie meets with Ray, and takes him away from the hospital. Eventually, he learns Ray's story and the two form an unbreakable bond.

Dragnet: When examining fierce fighting, Sgt. Friday and Officer Frank Smith set out to solve a brutal murder. A bookie by the name of Miller Starkie has been killed. They aggressively pursue the case as they try to find the killers. Cast includes Jack Webb, Ben Alexander, Richard Boone, Ann Robinson, Stacy Harris, Virginia Gregg, and Dennis Weaver. (89 minutes, 1954)

Bram Stoker's Dracula: Count Dracula is on a mission to find the one woman he truly ever loved. HE wants to be eternally reunited with her. He leaves Transylvania and goes to London to see if a woman who looks exactly like his love of centuries ago is in fact the woman he searches for.

Communion: Mental thriller with Walken well cast as author Whitley Strieber, who finds himself visited by odd beings. Does he need a psychiatrist or an exorcist? A tad long in the tooth and the dramatic scenes between Walken and spouse Crouse don't really work. The movie still has some good moments. Cast includes Christopher Walken, Lindsay Crouse, Frances Sternhagen, Andreas Katsulas, Terri Hanauer, Joel Carlson, and Basil Hoffman. (107 minutes, 1977)

Siege of Syracuse: No less than Archimedes guards Syracuse from invading armada by use of mammoth mirrors that explodes into flames. In spite of that, it's regimen. Cast includes Rossano Brazzi, Tina Louise, Enrico Maria Salerno, and Gino Cervi. (97 minutes, 1962)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Cute variance on vampire legends, with high school Valley Gal Swanson turning out to be "the selected one" of her generation to slaughter wandering vampires. Sutherland is superlative as her mentor and guide, and Reubens the prior Pee-wee Herman is fun as one of the fanged bullies. Look for Ben Affleck as a basketball competitor. Cast includes Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens, Rutger Hauer, Luke Perry, and Gregson Wagner. (86 minutes, 1992)

Strait Jacket: Crawford served twenty years for axe kills; now, living calmly with baby girl Baker, slays start once more and she's speculated. Crawford's hefty portrayal makes this one of best in the Infant JANE genre of older-megastar shockers; script by Robert Bloch. Cast includes Joan Crawford, Diane Baker, Leif Erickson, Anthony Hayes, Howard St. John, Rochelle Hudson, and George Kennedy. (89 minutes, 1964)
