Eragon Ebooks For The Kindle

By Davin Greenway

The book series Eragon has captured many of our hearts. Some beautiful writing by Christopher Paolini, coupled with a long and well-thought out series of stories has made this one of the best trilogies of recent times. Recent movie adaptations of the book have helped boost it's popularity too.

Eragon eBooks-or digital versions you can download to your computer or your Kindle-are growing in popularity. Amazon gets many requests for the series to be downloaded to their Kindle ereaders, and other sites offer other formats, as well. Here's a short summary of the titles in the trilogy:

In the first volume, Eragon, the main character, aptly named Eragon begins as a poor lad growing up on a farm, but along the way he finds he has a greater destiny: to be a dragon rider. Together, he and his dragon becomes heroes and save the entire Empire.

The second book in this great trilogy, Eldest, is even more well written by Paolina and carries on the story of Eragon. Now the Empire is controlled by Galbatorix, an evil dominator, and Eragon is again called to save the Empire. Together with Sapphire, his dragon, they head out to accomplish their mission in this classic tale.

Finally, in Brisingr, the final book, Eragon takes Sapphire into yet another battle. This time they wage war with more dwarves but barely escape alive. In the end, with some additional preparation, Eragon gets hold of the magic sword and goes out to battle the king. This is yet another epic chapter in the saga.

The Ultimate Unauthorized Eragon Guide: this interactive book reveals interesting facts behind all the characters and places that fill the world of Alagaesia. It includes a biography of the author, as well as some tips for fantasy writing. It covers interesting facts about dragons, giants and dwarves.
